I made this bad boy for my fiancés birthday. Not only was it fun to make, but it was delicious and disappeared in under 2 minutes!
I always like to have tea and cake with the girls, whenever we can squeeze it in. There’s nothing more civilised than an afternoon spent reconnecting, complaining about work, our significant others, and (if I can get them all in one place at the same time) trying to find bridesmaids dresses that all my girls like! Ok so I have to start this post with a confession… I don’t have any photos of this banana loaf whole. I got too excited and ate a ‘small’ portion before I remembered to take some snaps.
My housemates birthday is today and we always make cakes for eachother. I had to make the cakes back home and travel back to London on the train with them, so I figured cupcakes would be easiest.
A friend of mine got married recently, and for the reception she asked some of her guests to bake a cake to bring and share with everyone. It was a lovely idea, saved her some money and we all had a TON of cake to eat on the big day.
I wanted to make something tasty and fun, because the bride is tiny, adorable and a little mental. So I made a chocolate button cake!
Here it is! I wanted it to be bright and fun, I was really proud of how it came out.
So I wish I could say that this cake was for my niece who’s 3… but it was for my sisters 26th birthday instead. We’ve always called her Little Miss Perfect so it just seemed apt.
